Wendy's Personal History
In today’s web savvy world, it is still a good idea to consult with a professional travel agent. I would like to share a little about my history and how I came to be an agent, about my experience and how I may benefit you in planning your travel.

I fell in love with travel on a French class trip in High School and pursued my travel career goals by attending Widener University. After my first year in college, I secured a full time job at Chadds Ford Travel, working full time during the day and continuing my education at night. I graduated with an Associate of Science Degree majoring in travel and tourism management plus one year experience in 1983.

Over the past 23 years, I been responsible for thousands of reservations for passengers including air, hotel, rental cars, tours and cruises. I have a diverse knowledge of travel as a result of my positions. I served for 15 years as Vice President of Sales at the Charter Clearing House in Harrisburg where I arranged private jet charters and group air for incentive, college sport and corporate travel programs for groups from 10 to as many as 5,000 people at a time. I have reviewed thousands of hotel and air contracts and can offer you quality, negotiated travel services for your group. As group Manager at AAA in York, PA, I increased my cruise knowledge and spoke at special travel events on how to plan your trip. Most recently at my position as Sales Manager at BBW Enterprises (owners of Rohrer Tour & Charter Company, Capitol Trailways and Great Vacations Travel), I planned motorcoach tours and cruises.

I have escorted more than 50 trips within the US and the Caribbean and to date have personally sailed on 23 cruises. I have been speaking publicly about travel in a variety of forums from cruise nights and promotional events, to trade shows and women’s business seminars.
